FSJ Airshow

The 2007 FSJ Airshow was a huge success. Perfect weather, an excellent turnout and the first-class perfomers made the show one to remember. Over 100 sponsors came together to make the show happen, and nearly 200 volunteers came out to help put the show on.

Two US Military A-10 Warthogs arrived in Fort St. John at approximatly 5 PM Tuesday evening. The Warthogs has a layover in Seattle due to a fuel issue, however, they are still scheduled to preform their show at the FSJ AirShow.

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds landed in Fort St. John this afternoon before their performance Wednesday evening at the FSJ AirShow.

Performers for the Fort St. John Airshow started arriving in town Monday - Pictured is Bill Carter and his Pitts Special - Bill is one of several pilots already in the Energetic City in preparation for this Wednesday's Airshow. Media rides commence at 9 AM Tuesday Morning at the Fort St. John Airport. The Canadian Forces Snowbirds team leaders are scheduled to arrive at 11 AM tuesday morning, with the entire team arriving at approximately at 1 PM. The Snowbirds are planning to preform a flyover of Fort St. John before landing. The two US Military A-10 Warthogs are now scheduled to arrive Tuesday evening, and are also planning a flyover of the community. Gates for the FSJ Airshow open at 4 PM this Wednesday, with the show starting at 6 PM. Free Shuttle busses will be leaving every 10 minutes from the North Peace Recreation Centre.

Parking at the FSJ Airport will cost you $10 per vehicle, particial proceeds go to support North Peace Search and Rescue. Please be prepaired with exact change. Get your tickets in advance at the Fort St. John Visitor Information Centre on 100th Street in Fort St. John. Tickets will also be available at the gate - Cash, Debit and Credit Cards will be accepted when buying tickets.
